Join us the night before as we kick off the celebrations with a warm welcome to Samos!

Drinks and light bites, casual attire
Asterias is on the same property as the Doryssa hotel. If you staying at the Sunrise Hotel or in Iraio, it’s a short cab ride away.
The Wedding
Friday, the 26th of September
Welcome drinks served at 5pm
Ceremony to commence at 5:30pm

If you’re staying at the Sunrise Hotel or in Iraio, it’s walking distance to the venue (depending on your shoes). A short cab ride from Doryssa.
The day after
The bride and groom will be lounging on the beach at Asterias Seaside Experience on Saturday, the 27th of September
Sleep in and join us at your leisure for a relaxing day in the sun!
Small fee to reserve a lounge chair, complimentary if you are staying at Doryssa.
We recommend water shoes or water safe sandals.

Airport Information
Airport: SMI - Samos International Airport
Getting to Samos Airport (SMI) from the US usually means making at least one stop in a major European city like Athens, London, or Frankfurt, since there aren’t any direct flights. From Athens, you can catch one of the many daily flights to Samos, which takes about an hour.
Cost effective tip: book separate flights to Amsterdam, and then from Amsterdam to Samos.

Travel Tips
While almost everywhere accepts credit cards, we recommend having some Euro on hand. You can typically order in advance through your bank to avoid exchange fees.
There is no Uber in Samos. Taxis are available, or consider a rental car if you want to explore further around the island.
Water shoes or water safe sandals recommended as the beaches are typically rock beaches.
Wedges, block heels, or sandals recommended for events (no spike heels). Ceremony will be on turf and reception on flagstone.
